It was quite the opposite. The ring has lots of sparkle and the cut is beautiful. I took it to a jewelry store and they were impressed with both the cut and quality for the price. It does have some white flecks within the stone but this is typical and does not affect the look of the ring. I have had a lot of positive comments when I wear it. I am very happy with my ring, and this seller.
